Music Industry Support
Care for the people who make the music happen.
The work can be extraordinary. The pace can be a lot. B-rooted offers somatic support for artists and music industry professionals who want room to breathe, reconnect with themselves, and attend to what life in this industry asks of their bodies and relationships.
You are more than your role
From the outside, people often see the show. You know the travel, load-in, late nights, last-minute changes, creative pressure, and responsibility that surround it. Even when you thrive in the work, your nervous system may need time and support to move between intensity and rest.
Maybe you feel wired after everyone else has gone home. Maybe returning from a tour feels strangely difficult. Maybe you are so used to responding to what others need that you have lost touch with your own signals. There is nothing you need to prove here.
Who this space is for
Artists and performers · Touring crew · Production and technical teams · Managers and artist support professionals · Festival and live event workers · Other people whose work lives in and around music
You don't need to be on tour to belong here. Studio work, local shows, planning, leadership, and the stretches between projects bring their own demands.
What happens in a session?
Individual somatic sessions
A private, touch-free space to slow down and explore what is happening in your body. Sessions are 60 minutes and available online or in person in Nashville. We can focus on the experiences most relevant to you, from winding down after high-intensity work to navigating uncertainty, boundaries, or the return home.
We begin with what is present for you. You might share what has been happening in your life, notice sensations or emotions, and explore how your body responds as we go. I may guide you through gentle awareness, grounding, or orienting practices. You can pause, ask questions, or choose a different direction at any time.
Somatic work pays attention to signals such as breath, tension, temperature, movement, and moments of ease. We approach them with curiosity rather than trying to make your body do something on command. There is no touch involved, and you do not need to revisit painful memories in detail.
What somatic support can look like
We might notice where your body feels braced and where it has a little more room. We might practice orienting to the present, explore what helps you recover after a demanding day, or make space for a feeling you have had to set aside to get the job done. The work is collaborative and paced with you.
Somatic healing sessions are experiential and body-based. They are not psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis care, or a replacement for licensed mental health treatment. If you are looking for clinical counselling, we can discuss appropriate options during an introductory call.
A note from Jennifer
I have offered on-site mental health support in live music environments. I know how much care the people behind an event give to everyone else. My hope is to offer a space where you can set down the role for a moment and be met as a person.
You can care deeply about the music and care for yourself, too. Let's begin with a conversation.
Session Cost: $175/60 minute session
My services are not covered by extended health insurance
